Julie Johnson, Staci Balbirer and Maryam Arfeen Participating in the ISBA's Women and The Law Afternoon Tea in Celebration of International Women's Day

On Friday, March 8, 2019, the Illinois State Bar Association’s Women & the Law Committee will celebrate International Women’s Day by hosting its third annual Women and the Law Afternoon Tea.

Aronberg Goldgehn attorney Staci Balbirer, who is a member of the ISBA’s Standing Committee on Women and the Law, is on the organizing committee for the event. Julie Johnson, who is chair of the ISBA’s Standing Committee on Women and the Law, will speak at the event. Associate Maryam Arfeen, who is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, is attending the event.

International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

The Women and the Law Afternoon Tea will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on March 8 and will be held at The Langham Chicago, 330 N. Wabash.
