Jim Christman Has Joined Aronberg Goldgehn as a Member

James A. Christman has joined Aronberg Goldgehn Davis & Garmisa as a Member. He represents clients in both litigation and transactional matters, with much of his work focused on services for medical professionals.

Jim counsels clients and litigates on their behalf in matters related to contracts, commercial disputes, fiduciary duty, professional liability, director liability and officer liability.

He also works extensively with physicians and physician groups on healthcare and regulatory matters. In particular, he represents physicians in medical staff proceedings and Physician-Hospital Organizations as well as Independent Practice Associations in corporate, regulatory and managed care contracting matters.

Also among his accolades, Jim has been recognized as a Leading Lawyer by the Illinois Leading Lawyer Network and as an Illinois Super Lawyer.

Prior to joining Aronberg Goldgehn, Jim was a partner at Steptoe & Johnson LLP, which he joined after spending the majority of his career with Wildman Harrold (now merged with Locke Lord LLP).

Jim earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and a B.A. from DePauw University.
