The seminar will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Naperville Country Club, 25W570 Chicago Avenue, Naperville, IL.

About Mark Anderson

Mark has extensive experience in tax planning and trust and estate administration on behalf of business owners and their families, coordinating tax planning with efficient business operations. These planning services are provided within the framework of maintaining family plans for income and asset distribution, economic control and asset protection. In addition to his core tax and estate planning practice, Mark enjoys working on complex LLC operating agreements and is a frequent speaker on this subject, as well as asset protection planning and related matters. Mark is a member of the Board of Directors of the Edward Foundation. As a member, he and his fellow volunteer members work closely with the hospital, civic and business leaders, and community organizations to identify philanthropic opportunities and to ensure that the contributions the Foundation receives are invested in a meaningful and ethical manner. Before becoming a Foundation board member, Mark served on the Foundation’s Planned Giving Committee.

About Richard Thompson

Richard, CPA, is a partner with Sikich. He concentrates on income tax, estate tax and financial planning for closely held businesses, their owners and individual clients. With more than 34 years of experience, Rick focuses much of his practice on transactional services including business entity selection, succession planning, estate planning and mergers and acquisitions. He serves a wide variety of clients in many industries including manufacturing, real estate, service businesses and high-net worth individuals. Rick has served as an instructor for continuing education courses at the national and local levels and has taught at Northern Illinois University and Elgin Community College. He is a frequent speaker on various aspects of taxation.
