Chris Bannon Presenting at ISBA Seminar, "Because You're Worth It! Achieving Advancement & Fair Compensation in the Legal Profession"

On Thursday, May 7, 2015, Aronberg Goldgehn Co-Managing Member Christopher J. Bannon will speak at the Illinois State Bar Association program, "Because You’re Worth It! Achieving Advancement & Fair Compensation in the Legal Profession," presented by the ISBA Standing Committee on Women and the Law.

This CLE program, which is being coordinated by Aronberg Goldgehn associate Julie A. Neubauer,  will address issues facing women lawyers in a three part presentation, including: discussion on the topics of advancement and compensation of women attorneys; statutory and case law developments; and a five-person panel will round out the program by defining and encouraging success for women attorneys, along with methods for achieving it, despite the statistics.

From 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., Chris will speak as a panel member on the "Rising Above the Stats: Defining and Encouraging Success for Women Attorneys and Methods for Achieving It." Specifically he will address the evolution of the mid-size firm environment and practice management as women attorneys have increased their presence in the field, as well as the firm’s efforts to create a welcoming environment for female attorneys and the success the firm has experienced as a result of management level efforts.

The program and networking reception is co-sponsored by the Standing Committee on Law Office Management and Economics, the Standing Committee on Racial and Ethnic Minorities and the Law and the Young Lawyers Division.
