Lisa Brodsky, Tim Nelson and Amy Gibson Elected New Members

Aronberg Goldgehn has elected three attorneys as Members of the firm, effective January 1, 2015. They are Lisa J. Brodsky, Timothy R. Nelson and Amy M. Rapoport Gibson. Their promotions are reflective of the quality work they each have performed during the course of their careers here, their accomplishments and valuable contributions to the firm’s past success, and their anticipated future involvement in helping Aronberg Goldgehn continue to grow and thrive for many years to come.

Our New Members

Lisa Brodsky
Lisa practices primarily in the area of Insurance Coverage Litigation and Analysis, representing insurance companies in complex insurance coverage matters involving underlying product liability and professional liability claims. She serves as third party administrator for clients with significant self insured retentions, including the management and handling of general and product liability claims within the self insured retention. Lisa also represents businesses and individuals in commercial litigation and appeals.

Tim Nelson
Tim represents businesses, lenders and real estate clients in a broad range of matters and transactions. He frequently serves as outside general counsel for middle market and closely-held businesses in a variety of industries, including the manufacturing, private equity, retail, consulting, aerospace, construction, engineering, education, technology, entertainment and service industries. In his capacity as a trusted legal adviser, Tim provides counsel on a broad range of legal, business and strategic matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business formations, corporate governance, private debt and equity offerings, intellectual property, commercial finance transactions, employment matters, as well as real estate, leasing and licensing transactions.

Amy Rapoport Gibson
Amy’s main practice area is commercial litigation. She focuses on shareholder disputes including, without limitation, claims for violation of the Business Corporation Act, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract. She also focuses on employment litigation, such as defending claims for discrimination, breach of noncompetition agreements, and trade secret misappropriation. Other areas of Amy’s practice center on real estate litigation, creditors rights in bankruptcy, and disputes arising out of the sale of goods under the Uniform Commercial Code.
