Karen R. Mills Shares Insights on Pro Bono Work in PILI Feature

Aronberg Goldgehn’s Karen R. Mills, who was named to PILI’s 2023 Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll, recently discussed her work with pro bono clinics with the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI).

When asked what motivates her to do pro bono work, Karen credits the way her parents raised her. Karen said, “Pro bono is a reminder to me that the intention of practicing law is to help others.”

Karen concentrates her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate litigation, special needs planning, asset protection and guardianships for minors and adults with disabilities. Her practice also involves advising clients with respect to taxation, business and asset protection and long-term care planning.
