CBA Civics Committee Launches Leadership Speakers Series Under Direction of John C. Sciaccotta

The Civics Committee of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) will institute a new Leadership Speakers Series beginning with the Tuesday, November 30 session titled “Chief Justice Anne M. Burke discussing Judicial Redistricting and Statewide Pretrial Services” at 12 pm CT.

As the inaugural Committee Chair, John C. Sciaccotta will introduce Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Anne M. Burke for a discussion concerning the Judicial Districts Act of 2021 and the resulting challenges as well as the novel operational structure for statewide pretrial services.

The Civics Committee is a recent CBA initiative providing a forum for legal, business, civic, philanthropic, academic, political, community and professional leaders to engage in conversations regarding noteworthy news and issues related to civics.
