John C. Sciaccotta and Jerry Holisky Business Divorce Column Debuts in Chicago Daily Law Bulletin

Aronberg Goldgehn attorneys John C. Sciaccotta and Jerry Holisky debut in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin with their column Business Divorce.

The first article in the column series is a two-parter focusing on how to respond to a company’s rejection of a books and records request. Part one pertains to Illinois law considerations while part two will discuss Delaware considerations.

Business Divorce focuses on issues and developments in the broad area of ownership disputes, including squeeze-outs, freeze-outs, negotiated buyouts, oppression, dissolution and fiduciary duty claims – with reporting and analysis from both a transactional and litigation perspective.

Jerry is a Co-Managing Member of Aronberg Goldgehn and a senior lawyer in the firm’s Business Law and Transaction Group while John is a Member of the firm, working in the Commercial Litigation Group.  

Both John and Jerry are Co-founders and Chairs of the Chicago Bar Association’s recently formed Committee on Business Divorce and Complex Ownership DisputesThey are also both authors of ICCLE publications on issues related to business divorce.
