Aronberg Goldgehn attorneys John C. Sciaccotta and Alan S. Wernick have been selected as mediators for the Chicago Bar Association’s newly launched Mediation Service. John is one of the co-founders of the Service.

The CBA Mediation Service was launched in order to provide mediations that are efficient, effective, economical, and fair. The Service is structured to meet the needs of a wide-range of clients in areas such as personal injury, family law, commercial, subrogation, real estate and others, for a fee of $400 an hour.

Participating mediators must be CBA members with at least 10 years of experience, and they must have taken an approved training course.

According to the website for the Service, the parties, who must be represented by counsel, can expect “a high chance of resolution while negotiating in a safe environment with an experienced CBA mediator.” Parties can resolve their disputes before or after a court filing with a CBA mediator.
