Women Employed Luncheon Draws Over 60 Attendees

Despite the numerous advancements that women have made in the working world, they earn only 77 cents nationally for every dollar earned by men, noted Anne Ladky, executive director of Women Employed during a luncheon with over 60 women business leaders held recently at the law firm of Aronberg Goldgehn. The luncheon was held to support Women Employed, a non-profit organization committed to improving the economic status of women and to removing barriers of economic equity.

The luncheon featured guest speaker, City Clerk Susan Mendoza, and was co-hosted by Deb Golden, Senior VP, General Counsel and Secretary at GATX, and Aronberg Goldgehn. Mendoza reiterated her commitment to Women Employed and shared stories of her new role in office, including lessons in management and life that she’s learned along the way. The luncheon was held as part of a year long community outreach event celebrating Aronberg Goldgehn Davis and Garmisa’s 120th year anniversary.
